The textile, clothing and footwear sector is one of the most important productive industry worldwide with a value of 748.1 billion dollars. It is a sector that faces a dynamic environment and its growth depends on internal and external factors. Among the external factors are aggressive competition, volatile demand and growing pressure from authorities and local communities on issues regarding environmental protection and workers’ rights in developing countries. Internally, the sector must face an increasingly shortly product lifecycle and the need to innovate both in product and organizational development. The success of the companies belonging to this sector depends on how they manage the internal relationships and the relationships with the different organizations that are part of the value chain and the environment in which they are performing their activity. That is why it is necessary to develop research in this field.
